The Partnership is funded by Coventry City Council, Warwickshire County Council, Coventry Primary Care Trust, CV One, University of Warwick and Coventry University and is supported by CSW Sport, Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce, Coventry Sports Foundation and Advent Communications.

It is spearheading the sub-region’s bid to maximise the opportunities arising from the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Advent was praised by the London Organising Committee for the Olympic Games (LOCOG) in 2008 for achieving £100,000 worth of publicity for the Beijing to London Olympic handover – the highest outside of London.

Advent continues to promote the organisation in the regional press and has received a wide-range of media coverage.
