Coventry Sports Foundation is a charitable organisation. It runs the Alan Higgs Centre in Allard Way, Pinley, Centre AT7 in Austin Drive, Courthouse Green, and the Midland Sports Centre in Cromwell Lane, Tile Hill.
Work has started on the £8.75 million replacement facility for the Midland Sports Centre. The new site is in Mitchell Avenue and will play a big role in the regeneration project in Canley. Opening is scheduled for summer 2008.
The Foundation’s main objective as a charity is to provide an affordable range of sporting, recreational, educational and social activities to under-represented and disadvantaged community groups and individuals within Coventry.
