Isle Casino in line for award

The Isle Casino has been nominated in two categories of an international gaming award competition – with help from Advent Communications.

The £40 million complex at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry is among the seven venues that have been named as the finalists in the Casino Interior Design and Casino Restaurant sections of the 2009 International Gaming Awards.

Advent helped draft a PowerPoint presentations for the client, to submit to the competition judges.

The winners will be announced at a glittering ceremony at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel in London on Monday, January 26.

The Isle Casino will face competition from rivals in Monte Carlo, Las Vegas, Armenia, Macau and the UK to lift either of the crowns.

Advent Communications has worked with the Isle Casino since early 2008 to publicise the venue regionally and nationally.

Adam Dent, managing director of Advent, said: “For the Isle Casino to be up against rivals in Monte Carlo and Las Vegas shows the level of quality at the venue.

“Locally, the popularity of the Isle has gone from strength to strength and it has established itself not just for its gaming, but as a great location for good and live entertainment.”
