Advent has been helping to create a buzz at The Belfry’s exciting new venture.

Around 30,000 honey bees – or apis mellifera to give them their correct name – have a new home at the resort in Wishaw, Sutton Coldfield, which has resulted in extensive coverage in the media across the Midlands.

Water resource manager Matt Gilks and head of health and safety and security Mike Williams are attending a beekeeping course led by Bernard Diaper at Sutton Park Apiary to look after The Belfry’s newest inhabitants.
