Business angel investment network Minerva has proved it is one in a million after it raised over £1 million of funding to support early stage businesses in just over a year.

Advent client The University of Warwick Science Park (UWSP) hosts and manages Minerva which aims to assist fledgling businesses with high-growth potential access the funding they need to fulfil their promise.

It has completed 12 investments during the last 15 months, raising in excess of £1 million funding from its 100 registered angel investors who meet monthly at the UWSP Venture Centre, in Coventry, to assess potential investment opportunities.
