National broadsheets review exhibition

An exhibition about Sir Basil Spence at The Herbert in Coventry has received national reviews and regional television coverage, following a PR campaign by Advent.

The Guardian, Daily Telegraph and Independent all covered the ‘Back to the Future: Sir Basil Spence 1907-1976’ exhibition, which runs until August 31st at the art gallery and museum in Jordan Well.

BBC Midlands Today also sent a camera crew to report – click http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/7465898.stm to watch, while its sister radio station BBC Coventry and Warwickshire interviewed the organisers.

The regional press showed a keen interest too, with the Birmingham Post, Coventry Telegraph, Coventry Observer and Coventry Times among the well-read publications to carry articles.

Advent Communications began work for The Herbert in 2008 and is preparing for the gallery’s full re-launch following a £20 million refurbishment and extension.
