The Ricoh Arena is set to establish itself even further on the national and international map after a highly successful 2008.
Advent Communications, which has worked with the Ricoh Arena since its inception, was able to publicise a host of events to raise the profile of the venue on the entertainment, leisure and business scene.
Concerts from Bon Jovi, Rod Stewart, The Enemy, Ash, Scouting for Girls and acts at 1 Extra Live helped established the Ricoh Arena as a major music venue in the Midlands.
Meanwhile, organisers of UK-wide conferences and exhibitions continued to book their events in the self-contained Jaguar Exhibition Hall and E.ON Lounge and world-wide exposure was gained when the Heineken Cup semi-final was screened live on Sky Sports.
Advent was also on hand to announce that Britain’s two biggest bands – Take That and Oasis – would be spending a total of four nights at the venue in the summer of 2009.
Adam Dent, managing director of Advent, said: “The Ricoh Arena is already set as one of the region’s leading venues for both business and pleasure.
“The venue has gained media coverage regionally, nationally and internationally in 2008 and with another exciting year ahead, its profile will undoubtedly continue to grow.”
